child depression

                                                                Child depression
In the article all work no play by Esther Entin it talks about how if children don’t get enough free time they will depressed in their older years. To me this sounds pretty dumb because what does a child not playing have to do with their depression in their older years that makes no since it could probably affect them in their younger years like the child being mad they don’t get to play enough, but when you become a man or a woman usually all that playing stuff comes to an end. But it is true in the article it says in a subtitle play gives a child a chance to develop a connection with their own self I think that this is true because when you are young you find out who you are by interacting with other people and other children. It also says most importantly, play is a source of happiness and I also think this is a true statement because when you’re playing you are happy sometimes even when you’re playing by yourself. I don’t think the loss of play will cause anxiety or depression because I don’t think to any child not playing is the end of the world. And if you don’t play a lot because your parents or whatever reason  you are used to not playing but if you are then most likely you play when you are allowed which is most of the time.

  1. Good, but could use some organization. Use the blog post format.

Did you have a lot of free play time growing up?
